That glass is not as tough as You think. All one needs is a Springloaded Center Punch
like this it fits in a shirt pocket. One push and the window will craze and then they just simply push on the shattered window and it’s gone.

Cars made in the last 4 years and newer.....center punches no longer work. They began putting the laminated glass all around in a car (windshield glass) a few years ago.

Only the windshield is laminated, and maybe the rear glass is too.
But the side windows are tempered glass and will break into little cube like pieces when broken.
I’ve had a logging truck kick up a pea sized pebble that blew out the glass on the rear door of my old truck
