Speaking of McGovern, was there a celebrity or member of the Media that wasn’t for McGovern in 72? How did that work out?

That’s why I’m not too worried about Trump’s re-election chances.

I don' t remember specifically who supported McGovern rather than Nixon, except all the libs. I don't remember Nixon being that popular,...must have been the economy, and promises to end Viet Nam ?

HOWEVER, I do remember Reagan / Mondale. We loved Reagan and Mondale promised to raise taxes, which I liken to 2020. ...with another 'TV Star', plain speaking, and crazy dems. :)
