She was trying to “otherize” the barking moonbats in the lineup as in, “Hey, I don’t hate the military like those nutjobs, because I’m normal & patriotic.”
Sorry, ma’am, but as a former Guardsman, I’m not buying. You’re just as big a gungrabber as the rest of them. In my time in the military I met lots of field grade officers who thought civilians shouldn’t have guns.

And that is he key point- she soudns reasonable on a number of htings, much more lucid than her runningmates, but she’s still a gun grabbin liberal from what i can tell
