More like “American’s nagging grandma.” Did you see that clip of her wagging her granny finger and telling the crowd “that’s not funny!” when it actually was? She’ll never get past that. She sounded like your stern grandma who always told you off, whether you came home at 3 AM or just ate some cold pizza for breakfast instead of oatmeal.
Old fashioned liberals are always moralists (from their perspective) and they can’t get beyond moralizing how they are better than the rest of us. This will not win.
