Jill Biden tells voters to pick husband: 'Your candidate may be better' on some policies, but 'we have to beat Trump'

"I know that not all of you are committed to my husband, and I respect that, but I want you to think about your candidate, his or her electability, and who’s going to win this race," Jill Biden said at a campaign event in Manchester, N.H., according to video from NBC.
"I know my goal is to beat Donald Trump, we have to have someone who can beat him. So if you look at the polls, if you look at Joe with his record with Independents," she said, adding that candidates couldn't just rely on Democratic voters in the 2020 election.
"So yes, you know, your candidate might be better on, I don’t know, healthcare, than Joe is, but you’ve got to look at who’s going to win this election, and maybe you have to swallow a little bit and say, 'Okay, I personally like so and so better,' but your bottom line has to be that we have to beat Trump," Jill Biden added.

The Bidens are doing a Woodrow Wilson. The wife is running the show and provides all the lines...most of which Joe still trips over.

2) I sure as heck don’t want hers.
So I will stick with Trump. He isn’t trying to be the husband of America.
Joe isn’t all there. Why would anyone want THAT in a president?
Of course if someone comes out and says ANYTHING negative about her they will be accused of taking the race away from the candidates and attacking families.
Biden is lucky he is so ‘bad’ that (probably) no one will attack his ‘parenting’ skills....EXCEPT for the LIBs, any season is open season AND if the LIBs do start it and he gets far enough along, the blame will be shifted to the Rs.

If that’s the line, Biden’s going down. A strong candidate makes that kind of pitch when the field winnows down, NOT when there’s still a couple of dozen candidates going.
If Biden were truly “the moderate” and the “successor to Obama”, he should have no problem getting 20% in Iowa and New Hampshire, which should be enough to win.
I can’t believe she didn’t say “and old Joe does carry a big stick”. She married the loser and now wants to saddle the US with him.
