Andy Jackson had to deal with many of his friends being killed and tortured by Native Americans for no reason other than them being vulnerable. He also adopted a Native American as his son and was pragmatic for the time in dealing with the Native American. These idiots have no idea how the Seminoles were used by the British to kill US citizens and how the US had to deal with it. It has become obvious that many of these people running for President have no grasp and knowledge of history.
You have a good grasp of history. There was also the Fort Mims massacre in Alabama - the largest massacre of White settlers by Indians. Over 500 were killed by Creek Indians, which included many men, women, and children. The Creek Indians were also armed by the British. This spread absolute panic throughout the Southeast.
