Most businesses perpetuate the free idea with ‘free shipping’.
Does the driver delivering the package work for free? Do the vehicles that deliver stuff use free fuel? I don’t think so. Shipping is included in the prices.
A Furniture Chain in Connecticut used to do ads about Free Shipping. Bob Kaufmann said, Free Shipping? Did they steal the delivery Truck? Bob’s Discount Furniture ads were funny.
I wonder about Amazon Prime. I wonder if they have an algorithm to give different prices based on different users.
The other day, I noticed identical items going for a few dollars more on Amazon than other sites that charged for shipping.
