Yes I believe it was the custom of the Conqueror over the conquered to rape and pillage. That was the norm with our ancestors. The real issue, however, is they want to get rid of conservatives anti-abortion conservatives such as Steve King. Any way possible

All of the monarchs of England since William the Conqueror have been descended from him--but he was known previously as William the Bastard. Charlemagne's grandfather, Charles Martel, was also illegitimate. All the royal houses and noble families of Europe are probably descended from Charlemagne (and a vast number of commoners whose family trees can't be documented because few records were kept of the peasants until much later).

Even if someone can trace all of his ancestors back for ten generations and they were all upright, moral people, eventually he gets back into the Middle Ages and he must have a few scoundrels among his ancestors, unless they were all living on some island where everyone was virtuous...and I doubt any place like that has existed.
