No, I am saying that a police officer is a representative of the people. The officer maintains law and order. The officer is what keeps society civil.
Killing a citizen should result in a capital offense based on what the penalties are. Killing a law man is the equivalent as an attack on civil society and should not be afforded the same penalties. Only one penalty. A quick death.
