I’ve been talking about this. It seems the matter was silenced as “racist” when Obama’s status was questioned. I am afraid the looming fear of being called a racist somehow still exists no matter how pale this “woman of color”. It’s hard to believe they can still sell it, but it’s all about race through the election, and depending on the outcome, thereafter.
Both parties wanted to run ineligible candidates.
That’s why they went so hard after “birthers”
Both parties wanted the Constitution changed without the hassle of amending it.
With Precedent Obama, they think they have succeeded.
From the amount of pushback I get here on arguably the most conservative website for wanting the Constitution upheld, I’d say they are probably right.
