I would hope so.
If what I have been told is true, the Navy knows fully well what happened to the Scorpion.
Would, um, say, a country like, oh, say, China have any interest in reading a deep technical report, previously classified, of what went wrong in a deep sea diving nuclear submarine?
My ex-shipmate on USS Grampus SS 523 was an Electricians Mate Chief on the Thresher—it was sad to hear his name called as one of the crew.
That is what the commander is asking for. Almost everything is classified, much of it perhaps overclassified.
