Nadler, Cummings, Sanders, Waters, all voted against the Protect Act which passed in the House 400 - 25 and in the Senate 98 - 0 and signed into law in 2003, which among other things:

1) Expanded the prohibitions on, and increased penalties for, traveling in or into the United States or in foreign commerce to engage in illicit sexual conduct.

2) Provides for mandatory life imprisonment of a person convicted of a Federal sex offense against a minor if the person has a prior sex conviction in which a minor was the victim, unless a death sentence is imposed.

3) Established criminal liability for attempting to remove a child from the United States with intent to obstruct the lawful exercise of parental rights.

4) Eliminated statutes of limitations for child abduction or the sexual or physical abuse of a child.

5) Directs the Attorney General to assign a national AMBER Alert Coordinator.

So these cretins can’t be bothered to help innocent children in danger but they’ll waste millions chasing imaginary Russians.

I suspect their votes against the Protect Act was to limit the time they might eventually themselves serve in prison.
