“If they couldn’t lie CNN wouldn’t have anything to put on the air.”
If they had to tell the truth, CNN would actually be a good network. They have some excellent non-political shows they produce and put on the air as well as their international presence in places Americans cannot or will not visit.
They would just have to change the talent to news readers without a political agenda. If they want to still maintain a left wing bias for their commentators, that’s fine too. Just do not call it news.

The market’s changed now though, a cable news channel has to specialize to draw the most desired audience for their advertisers: the young and foolish.
