Boy Scouts of America have a 'pedophile epidemic' and are hiding hundreds in its ranks

The Boy Scouts of America are continuing to cover-up a “pedophilia epidemic within their organization,” a group of lawyers alleged Tuesday in a new lawsuit.

The Abused in Scouting lawyers said they’ve identified 350 previously unknown scoutmasters and volunteers who allegedly preyed on boys — and whose names were not known to law enforcement or in the BSA’s internal database, which critics have called “perversion files.”

“You can’t look at these files and not come to the conclusion that this was a massive problem that was hidden,” attorney Tim Kosnoff said at a press conference.

“We know that when a pedophile abuses a victim, it's not just one,” added attorney Stewart Eisenberg. “So each of the 350 abusers have dozens of other victims who have not come forward.”

Asked if any of the alleged scout abusers are still involved in scouting, Kosnoff said: “We asked the BSA to help us identify these perpetrators. We’ve hit a stone wall with the Boy Scouts.”

To be fair, this has been an ongoing problem that precedes the homosexualization of the BSA. But your point is taken; adding fuel to the fire is exactly the WRONG thing to do.

From my limited experience it seemed that a lot of scout leaders were also scout fathers. Having said that I am always suspicious of adult males who position themselves to be around children. I agree with your statement.

I would agree that most scout leaders would be those with sons in the program. However, I think of all the evil that the left has done to the nation over the past decades, making us "suspicious of adult males who position themselves to be around children" is among the most dangerous evils. Children need loving people around them, both male and female. I believe children are among the greatest gifts of God. I love being around them because of the way they help us to re-open our eyes to the wonders of the world that we so often miss once we grow up and become cynical about so much.

We have many children in the neighborhood that it has been my great joy to see grow up over the years. When my wife passed, several stopped by to offer sympathy because they loved her as she loved them. It is sad that we've allowed the leftists and media convince us that men are predators, when in fact, the great majority of us are just folk who love the future generations that we see and know around us, and would do anything to protect them if need be.

Leftists and the media will never convince me of anything. I am basing what I said on what I’ve seen. It is, admittedly, only my opinion, but men who want to be, for example elementary school teachers or, as I have seen, pediatric nurses, are suspect. Most men would not do that. How many men are elementary school teachers? Why do you think that is? I am not saying that all men who are in these positions are pedophiles, but it makes me suspicious.

When my son was in BSA the old scoutmaster quit and yes volunteers were hard to find. a single man came to us wanting to be Scoutmaster. He was red-headed, slim, could look homosexual. I asked Why did he want it? He said he loved scouting as a kid and wanted to help the boys enjoy it.

I said, if I hear of you touching any of the other boys, I will call the police. If you touch my kid... I WILL KILL YOU. Look at me, do you believe what I'm telling you?

He said, yes I do believe you! Later he did get married, had kids and I'm assuming got them into scouting.

Children should not be abused to learn about camping and the outdoors.

Agreed. I’m just shocked at how quickly the fall happened. It’s hardly been 10 years since the advent of gay scouts, gay scoutmasters, and the admission of girls.

The Mormon and Christian versions of the Scouts are growing and thriving. Both have made no compromises and will not entangle their enterprises with cities or counties who would twist their arms the way they manipulated the BSA.

I just hope that when the BSA finally goes under, they sell the rights to the name to one of these new scouting organizations. That would be sweet and a most appropriate outcome.

I kept looking for the terms homosexual or gay in the article and it’s nowhere to be found. Then I realized the news source was mainstream media.

I’ll betcha that 100% of the abuse is from male homosexuals, none of it female scout leaders abusing boys.
