It didn't take long for this new radical Left crowd to now openly say that is what they will do if elected.
New Zealand just did the same thing when the NZ Prime Minister banned semi-automatic guns after the mosque shootings. So far the ban and buy-back program has fallen flat on its face.
Only 700 guns have been turned in out of an estimated 1.5 million guns total so far. That's only 4.6 ten-thousandths of a percentage point compliance. And the problem the police say is, there was no gun registration program in place prior to the ban being ordered so they have no idea who has the guns. Epic fail.
In Australia, a gun ban resulted in only an estimated 20% of the guns being turned in. The authorities estimate there are still two to five million guns out there in the country that will not get turned in.
Criminal gangs have publicly said they will not turn in their guns. That announcement will preclude law-abiding citizens from complying further.
So before Biden and Harris and the rest of the commie crowd claim they are going to confiscate semi-automatic guns in the US if they are elected, they would best learn from other examples on the world that what they want to do will not work.
Americans will never turn in their guns to a tyrannical government.

I figure we will see all of the Democrat candidates pile one with similar vows. I hope wobbly Trump does not listen further to Ivanka, Graham, and others, to come up with plans or compromises. What he should offer is federal pre-emption of state and local restrictions of the 2nd amendment, make ccw valid everywhere just like drivers licenses, and end deadly gunfree zones. Those three changes, tied to a constitutionally respectful red flag law, would be great improvements for everyone. Take the guns out of the hands of deranged crazy people suffering TDS and worse, mental patients, terrorist groups like Antifa, etc.
