Except Republicans were quite content to be in the minority for decades. When they win, they don’t act like winners. They continue to act like they are losers.

Good. Replace them with nationalist conservatives; just like the people who founded and fought for this nation.

I’ll take c for $200, Alex. I don’t think it’s beyond the realm of possibilities that RINO’s would burn their own majority to stop our President.

Sometimes what isn’t reported speaks the loudest. One must ask oneself why The author does his very best not to mention this possibility.

What was the old saying about politicians and diapers?

There’s an advantage in incumbency because voters don’t have to be sold on a new candidate and party funds can be dedicated to other races, but getting a party used to finding the best candidates regularly and building up a stable of new candidates to run for more offices can be an even greater advantage.

Maybe most of them have been in congress long enough to qualify for some sweet retirement benefits. Also, they can continue getting $ from lobbying, influence peddling, and teaching bogus courses at universities. They are set for life on the gravy train. It’s a good gig, if you can get it.

The deep state knows all and the corrupt press would be more than happy to carry dirty water for them as long as it was thrown on Republicans.

It shows JUST how difficult Conservatism is.

It's the reason that only courageous voters get and stay Conservative. There is perpetual internal dialog, internal debate, soul searching and constant awareness of events, issues, etc. Idiots and slackers can't do this.

It's also the reason young, un-educated, ill-educated, disaffected and otherwise 'bust-out', losers LOVE Liberalism. All you need is emotion. Your brain is never involved with the process.

Whatever the reasons, it presages another loss of seats in November. I would, of course, hope it to be different this time but the past does strongly suggest the present. When many Democrats quit the Republicans gain big time and vice versa.

Mrs. Clinton’s FBI files are slowly expiring, like political mailing lists.

Sounds like it’s time for some new blood hard liners and purge the RINOs.

“They are being run out.”

Bingo! And they are being offered sweetheart post office employment as incentive to get out and give control to democrats.

There actually are three possible hypotheses that explain, single or combined, this phenomenon...

I'll go with all of the above.
