Psychotropics aside, I wonder if the driver of such is similar to or the same as that which “motives” young men to try to become women and go so far as alter their biochemistry and mutilate their bodies?

Both groups always hold leftist/communist/fascist beliefs and both desire to solve what they perceive as a problem and to which they have one solution.

Mental illness and societal encouragement to resist societal norms and reality. Incessant programming that they are at once, victim and perpetrator.
