I have been an emergency sub (you know the 6:00 a.m. phone call) for our local district for a few years. The 5th on up can be out of control on this dodgeball/townball thing. Some are “aiming for the kill” if you know what I mean. You can see it in their persona. I set the rules at the beginning very explicitly . . . even if the regular teacher hasn’t.
Gimmy a break. You can’t kill with a ball.. These are rubber balls and it’s a game.. Not for sissies!
