uh, NOT carbon-free: it took LOTS of carbon based materials and energy to make this contraption. Figure the number of people-miles/hour this thing is capable of and divide that into total cost and then compare that to the same metric for planes, trains, automobiles, or ships.

I bet she put ZERO thought into just how huge a carbon footprint it took for all the materials to build that beast. Blows away a couple hundred gallons of marine diesel a thousand fold.
