DNC Chair Perez: ‘There’s Unity’ Among Democratic Presidential Candidates for Universal Health Care
Breitbart ^ | 07/28/2019 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 07/29/2019 7:49:02 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Sunday on MSNBC’s “Kasie DC,” Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez previewed the upcoming Democratic presidential debate set to air on CNN later this week.

While there were divisions based on personalities, Perez said there was unity among the candidates on their approach to health care.

“Will there be differences in how to approach health care?” Perez said. “Yes, there will, but what there are no differences in and what there’s unity about is the fact that every Democrat wants to get to universal health care. We have differences about how to get from where we are now, which is pretty far up the mountain to universal health care, and that would be a great debate.”

I have a question, a serious question ,and not meant to just stir the pot :

My question is, what’s with these Democrats wanting universal health care, Medicare for all, etc? Wasn’t OBAMACARE supposed to solve all of our health insurance problems? Are they prepared to admit then, that OBAMACARE was a failure???

Theoretically there should be no uninsured people in America. Theoretically everyone has access to quality health care and quality health insurance coverage now.

I wish someone would ask them, why do they want to override and abandon OBAMACARE, when we were told that Obamacare would solve all of the problems with healthcare and health insurance coverage????

What they would say about Obummercare is that it was to be a stepping stone to Universal HC and the Repubs screwed it up.

That is what they will say.

It’s always about killing time and making major announcements about how the other guy did it all wrong. Health care, gun laws, freedom of speech, global warming, affordable housing. They hope to get elected based on a bunch of BS lies how they’ll do it better, fix it. Then they make things worse. It’s all about dragging as many people as possible into government dependence and/or making people believe they couldn’t possibly survive without the government.

It’s starts out as ‘for all’...

Then socialist thugs discover it’s too costly...

They revise it to: free medical care for democrat victim groups...

Paid for by the middle class.

Wyden just had to do a political photo op stunt with taxpayer dollars to rescue a Mexican citizen from “universal health care” that doesn’t seem to be “universal” or “health care”.

I have a question....

Healthcare and pharmaceuticals are the biggest business in the country. The “deep state” puts out its 4AM talking points of things they want to control. They have been manipulating things for decades to take over many highly profitable businesses.

“Theoretically there should be no uninsured people in America. Theoretically everyone has access to quality health care and quality health insurance coverage now.”

There are gaps such as:
1. illegal aliens,
2. people in states that did not expand Medicaid with incomes below 100% of FPL,
3. people in debt/paying expensive rents that can’t afford to pay what for most people at their income level can typically pay for coverage,
4. people that are hiding from debt collectors or the law.

Here's what 'free' heathcare looks like:

The worst of VA care without a modicum of guilt that these people were willing to die for their country.-

Here's what 'free college' looks like:

Same as the K-12 we have now... only it'll be K-16. (Since we already have 'free' public education we KNOW what it'll look like after all the revisions)

“Wasn’t OBAMACARE supposed to solve all of our health insurance problems?”

No, it was designed to
1. mainly solve the problems in Democratic-run states, and
2. cause eventual political change in Republican-run states who would not want to expand Medicaid because it would attract/retain Democrats.

The Democrats want total control of the USA. Obamacare is merely a tool to gain that power.

Once control is gained, welfare termination notices will get mailed out. Why should Democrats who work support a bunch of parasites, unnecessarily?

ObamaCare was the big lie to GET us to universal.

That’s is and was the goal all along.

In fact, I tend to believe it was filled deliberately with “poison pills’ just to get there.

Universal health care is inevitable.

How it is done is very important. Saying that it won’t be done is crazy.

60 000 votes in four states swung the 2016 election. Trump promised, among other things, a health care “plan” that would “cover everybody” and would be “so great”.

My personal opinion is that that is why he is President.
