Romanists do not have a true gospel to begin with, my FRiend. Anyone who thinks that you can have a saving faith but then lose it necessarily subsribes to a false “gospel.:

Nimrod? Nah. From catholics obviously, the uninspired fallible "Church Fathers" and "Antinicene Patristics" (who are not the fathers of any Christian assembly that I would attend), particularly those educated converted pagans whose grounding was in Platonism and Stoicism, who started mangling the Written Word by using it to further their allegorical methods, particularly from the catechistical school of Alexandria. That bunch is also the group from which the corrupted Greek texts Vaticanus, Alexandrinus, and Sinaiticus emanate which are the foundation from which nearly all the modern "Bible" versions are interpretively extracted (I will not use the word "translate" to describe the current process of getting rich on copyrighted publications mistitled "Bible").

Just do a Google search on the biographies of Clement of Alexandria, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Eusebius of Caesarea, Origen of Alexandria, and out of them the Bishop of Hippo, Augustine, who made sure the Cathological formula became the religious organ of the Roman State.

You can count on the fact that their errors came from the roots of making priests the subordinates of the religious power structure, with the ordinary "lay" people taking the big hit in this fiasco.

That's my opinion. All this was present even in Paul's time, of which he wrote to the people ogf Galatia. You will not in that epistle he was not boosting any other Gospel than the one given to him by revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ. Especially not the one being lived out by Simon bar Jona, raising problems in Paul's own home sending church of Antioch.
