The cafeteria at work always served fish on Friday as an option.

I never really understood the regulation that Rome imposed upon its members.

It definetely is a rules based denomination.

I was told, that things like adultery, missing mass on Sunday, thievery, going to bad movies, taking communion, with a mortal sin on my soul, were mortal sins. Also, believe it or not, so was eating meat on Friday. For awhile, I tried to follow all these rules, for awhile, till I realized I just couldn’t live up to their standards. I got angry and rebellious, and eventually, I dumped the Catholic Church. That was a great day, as I got rid of the shackles of this false religion. 👍 It got to a point, where you could use my mortal sin meter as fan. 😂
