Millions of Americans like me and Ilhan Omar are right where we belong
Beaumont Enterprise ^ | July 19, 2019 | Padma Lakshmi

Posted on 07/22/2019 6:19:29 AM PDT by artichokegrower

Wednesday night at a rally in Greenville, North Carolina, a sea of white faces in red hats bellowed "Send her back! Send her back!," referring to Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., a Somali refugee who disagreed with the president on policy.

Here’s an improved version of the Comrade Woody song:

Out in the country, far from a highway
There is this land here, and it is my way
Don’t ever come here, or you’ll be sorry
This land was made just for me

This land is my land, it isn’t your land
I got a shotgun, and you ain’t got one
If you don’t get off, I’ll blow your head off
This land was made just for me

So keep away now, Don’t ruin my day now
My property’s private, you cannot buy it
Go find your own land, Just be a lone man
This land was made just for me

This land is my land, it isn’t your land
I got a shotgun, and you ain’t got one
If you don’t get off, I’ll blow your head off
This land was made just for me

Of course, when I first heard the Kingston Trio sing the original, it was part of JFK’s New Frontier, optimistic and looking forward. Different times.

Padma in her racist screed mentions the awful white people many times. Paula Deen got kicked off her cooking show for supposedly using the “n” word in the 1960s.

“Banjo Bolsheviks” LOL!

Pete Seeger was a disgusting sickening Stalinist. What was even more sickening was that he was the darling of liberals as much as Alger Hiss. He performed at the Kennedy Center and received many honors from the Hive establishment.

He’s performing in Soviet Hell now.

As someone much wiser than me once stated “The US Constitution is many things but it is NOT a suicide pact.” Apparently to the idiot left they demand that our governing compact be just that. Time to water the tree of liberty. What other choice are we being given?

I find it interesting that a Bollywood actress, who could go back to India tonight and no one would miss her, thinks anyone gives a sh*t about what she says. Amazing.

Padma like more than a few Indians has proven to be rather anti white

Odd considering she has consistently bedded white men......Rich Jewish men in particular

Pretty as she is if you dig into her...
A veritable angry race obsessed basket case

I liked her when I saw her on a cooking show, about ten years ago. That was then.

I still love Indian food, though.

She is not where she should be.

Members of her family and herself committed immigration fraud by claiming to belong to another family that had been provided asylum and taking their name (Omar). Then, she ‘married’ her brother (who still has the family name Said) and later divorced him.

At least that is what is being reported. This should be investigated by the DOJ

Padma Lakshmi, one more walking argument for going back to the immigration law we had before the 1965 abomination.

It takes three generations to earn the culture, heritage and norms of America.
That is why they said it takes three generations to get the native dirt out from under the fingernails of immigrants. It takes that long to erase the image of their native lands.

I read a series of books about a guy who, in 1891-92, worked his way across America as a social experiment (proving that an unskilled worker could find a job anywhere if he looked for it. Cities were the exception.). More than once he mentioned staying with an immigrant family where grandparents spoke only the Mother Tongue, their kids spoke that and English, and their kids only English.

One of the reasons I like the old Charlie Chan movies is that while Charlie always came up with Confucius-like sayings, his kid was always popping into the room saying "Hey, pop." or words to that effect.

Years back, the Readers Digest had a tale of a enlistment officer interviewing guys during WWII. A Japanese-American kid shows up and the officers asks him if he's willing to fight against his own people. The kid's eyes opened wide and said "Geez, are we going to have ANOTHER Civil War?" Now THAT's assimilation.

I read that during the find-your-roots searches, the Baby Boomers had trouble finding out where they came from as their parents ditched everything pertaining to the Old Country - they didn't want to be reminded of all the crap they went through.

Padma, I’ve got news for you, if you or Ilmar, or AOC or anyone talks about America, it’s history and it’s people with hate tens of millions of us don’t care who you are, what color skin you have, what policy differences we have, what country your from, your social status, your gender, your sexual confusion or anything else...…..we’d just prefer you get the hell out!

In fact, I suspect many of us would buy you a one way ticket to anywhere just to get rid of you.

“As someone much wiser than me once stated “The US Constitution is many things but it is NOT a suicide pact.”

It’s a paraphrase of a 1949 dissent written by Supreme Court Justice, and one time Nuremburg prosecutor, Robert H Jackson.

‘’The choice is not between order and liberty. It is between liberty with order and anarchy without either. There is danger that, if the court does not temper its doctrinaire logic with a little practical wisdom, it will convert the constitutional Bill of Rights into a suicide pact.’’

Terminiello v. Chicago.
