My Dad served on the OLD USS Boxer aircraft carrier in Korea AND used to go on business trips to Iran before the Ayatollahs took over.

He would have been happy to see this.

My Dad was Chief Engineering Officer/Executive Officer on the Boxer [LPH-4]. He also briefly commanded it.
