I had a radical Iranian professor “teach” an International Relations class. He told us the United States dropped the atom bomb on the Japanese because they were yellow, but deliberately didn’t use it on the white Germans.

I had a Paki professor in Intro to Physics tell the class the same thing (1980s). By happenstance, I had just watched a TV show where Col. Tibbets said that his mission in the beginning was a nightmare, as he had to set up two teams in case they had to bomb Germany first. I told the prof he was wrong and gave him the info. He didn't say anything.

What really pist me off is that a good part of the class were retired Marines, many of whom wouldn't have been there is we hadn't dropped the bomb. When the prof made that statement, almost all hung their heads in guilt. Such was the effectiveness of PC in those days.
