In fairness, if Kampuchea can’t win her home state, she would have no chance at all.

I’m not sure that Biteme wasn’t a stopgap to temporarily derail Sanders so Kampuchea-—who as we know has trouble getting on her feet-—could do so.

Just noting that normally the nomination is already decided by the California primary but in 2020, the California primary has been bumped up to March 3. Thus, California now an “early primary” state and a major factor in the nomination process - at least for Democrats.
