Where would any reasonable person posting here rather go for a midnight walk: any permitted place in Beijing or the Shitcago south side?

"You are a racist disgrace. And shockingly ignorant too. In normal times, you would be PNGed for this, Ambassador Cui, I expect better of you and your team. Please do the right thing and send him home. " Rice tweeted in reference to Lijian Zhao, a diplomat posted in Islamabad. These former Obama admin officials are like herpes—we're stuck with them for life. Who asked Susan Rice to weigh in on who should be persona non grata? And notice she had no PNG opinion on the Brit ambassador.

Youre in Washington, D.C., you know the white never go to the southeastern part of the U.S. capital.the baseball field and around that area, Naval Yard, used to be war zone. Now it is "gentrified. South and west of the Anacostia River is a no white man zone.

Does Susan think she still has a title and power in this country? Why does she think she has any standing to criticize a diplomat from another country?

Youre not in a position to dictate what anyone should or should not do, Susan. So please sit down and STFU.

You know the old saying, if you want to anger a conservative, tell him a lie, but if you want to anger a liberal, tell him (or her) the truth.

This is one of those subjects in life we all know about but seldom talk about. But I think we all know in our own hometowns, where the bad neighborhoods are, and places we need to avoid.
Liberals are offended by such talk, but, we all avoid rough neighborhoods.

I had to go to the Navy Yard (pre new National stadium) when it was considered a ghetto war zone. I never felt safe until I had driven past the guard shack.

“It is not racist to speak the truth.”
Sometimes it is. Racism is showing disrespect for some race.
To: HamiltonJay
“If a particular race is sadly committing more violent crimes, and are doing so in areas of high concentration, telling folks to avoid that area is not RACIST...”
Prejudice and discrimination doesn’t just happen.
It is a learned response as a result of past experiences. It’s a strategy for survival by intelligently playing the odds.

“No white man zone” in DC is also “no Chinaman zone;” the natives there don’t discriminate between white men and Chinamen. Only difference is white man is more likely to pack heat than Chinaman.

Isn't this the area on or near the Green subway line? Isn't it racist to use green as a code for black? I know some areas are mostly cheaper housing for young government workers, interns and the like who are living six (sometimes more) to two or three bedroom flats to save rent.
So they aren't particularly high crime areas, but other areas are known by locals as no go zones.

I don’t know where Walter Reed Hospital is in DC.
My kid was stationed there.
She was warned not to go out of the gates because the area was dangerous

If you want to find the high crime areas of any east coast city in the USA find Martin Luther King Bvd and take it.

When you're a white guy from New Jersey, you don't go to Camden. You limit yourself to only a small part of Trenton. Forget about anywhere in Newark after dark (and only the business district during the day). Common sense. No need to risk one's life.
BTW, I'll bet Susan Rice doesn't go to the southest section of DC. Just sayin'
