Yes I have seen those rooms, inside with access to the ATM from the back
Sometimes I would see 2 employees go in the door to fill up the money slots, and to change receipt tapes I imagine.
Don’t know about the “rovers”
I see the rovers. They pull up in a small lightly-armored vehicle. Bonded of course. Doing maintenance work - somebody has to refill the cash and get the collected cards (not as many ATM’s eat cards these days it seems).
Usually 2 people for double-security - counting, loading, etc. Unlikely both want to go to prison. I’m fairly-certain with no employees that’s why they ripped the wall one out. I went around to use it after the building closed and the drive-thru one was inoperable temporarily - GONE!!!
(plywood? Are they joking?) - well it’s on the front of the building so anyone breaking in is gonna be real obvious).
