I'm cynical enough to believe that some of these top tech guys see big gov't dollars in monitoring, tracking and chipping people. They won't be able to resist the potential wealth. Even the fingerprint / thumbprint scanners, to start. I'm sure they dream of them everywhere. These days, you can get them for your house. Sure, it's cool technology.
