Sam Rayburn had a clever way of handling freshmen Democrats who got too big for their britches.
"You know, son, there are 435 members in this House. It's real easy to get lost in here."
He made sure they didn't get invited to the "Board of Education" room under the stairs where Speaker Sam would serve bourbon and branch water, and teach up and coming members how things worked in the House and how to get things done.

Ya know, I utterly despise Nancy Pelosi. But it just shows the unjustifiable, unbridled ignorance and arrogance of AOC,Omar, Tlaib, etc who are all still wet behind the ears from inexperience, yet they show their contempt for those like Pelosi who have been through many years of struggle, albeit for misguided intents.
In effect, Nancy is trying to give the new Rat blood an appreciation for the value of conservatism . . . in the sense that Pelosi is trying to get them to listen to what has worked in the past. In short, that is the essence of conservatism: sticking with what has proven itself to work over the long haul.
Thank you, Peloosi, for confirming that a conservative approach is a superior philosophy of operation!!!!
