It strikes me as quite unlikely that Jeffrey Epstein's motive for allegedly inviting powerful figures from the U.S. and Europe aboard the Lolita Express on a trip to Orgy Island was mere fellowship — as if they were playing a round of golf together. My dominant hypothesis is that he was video-recording highly illegal and morally reprehensible rapes for use as blackmail material. It might have been insurance against serious prosecution for his indulging in his own perversion, which would explain why his punishment the first time he was prosecuted was laughably light:
In June 2008, after Epstein pleaded guilty to a single state charge of soliciting prostitution from girls as young as 14, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison. Instead of being sent to state prison like the majority of sex offenders convicted in Florida, Epstein was housed in a private wing of the Palm Beach County stockade. He was able to hire his own security detail and was allowed "work release" to his downtown office for up to 12 hours a day six days a week. He served 13 months before being released for a year of probation. While on probation he was allowed numerous trips on his corporate jet to his homes in Manhattan and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
But a man who made serious money on Wall Street might well appreciate the utility of being able to blackmail people into sharing secret information, or rendering government decisions that favor him, among many other possibilities.

I seriously doubt that it was blackmail in the traditional sense. A non-legal, non-fictional person, is a natively born USA citizen. We-Those-People (WTP) are actual citizens, We and our father created USA. WTP created and enabled DC. This is an inverse relationship, to that of the non-fictional person.
WTP as creators, are not the serfs of DC and the _foreign_ powers which intoxicate it against WTP.

I would say that is because the Clintons were running the honey pot with Epstein. What better way to get money for the Clinton Initiative, as well as political protection from their criminal enterprises.

The idea always is to destroy the president.

No - he wouldn't have. When you are that rich and you have that sort of power and you are doing that sort of sick stuff - the very first thing you do is make protection tapes of the sick stuff the very rich and powerful are doing with you. The second thing you do is make a dead man's switch just in case something does happen to you.
This is most likely the reason he got off with the deal of the century in 2008. Part of his plea agreement was probably "I have the goods on everyone and if I go down - everyone else is going down with me."
So - knowing what we know NOW about the Bushs - they told him - you have to give us something and so they came up with the cover story about Bear Stearns. We now know the Bushs are swamp creatures and in 2008 wanted to probably protect their own - or even their own clan.
He most likely still has his dead man's switch - but after the raid, I am thinking the prosecutors may have some of it too. He has multiple copies that will be released in case untimely death or prosecution without a great deal. Every single individual who did the deed on that island or on one of his properties is sweating bullets right now. You can take that to the bank - even IF he has nothing - the very THOUGHT that he may have tapes is giving them collective heart attacks.
And THIS may be what Hillary's email was about - that they will all hang from the nooses. Who knows. She was obviously afraid about something - that much is clear. I've always wondered just exactly what it was.
