60% of Dem SC primary voters are black. In 2016 Hillary got the vast majority of black SC voters in the primary. Bernie did poorly. In 2020 it will be interesting to see what happens. You can bet that Mayor Pete will do poorly along with Bernie. Biden should be able to get the black vote in S.C. Kamala doesn’t have the black cred.
Well, if Mayor Pete would just emphasize his gayness and appeal to family values by mentioning how he and his husband want to raise a family then he might appeal to the black voters in SC. Do it, Pete. It's a great idea!
