I can’t imagine a 48-star flag would be considered rare. Now a 49-star flag, that would be a rarityonly used for one year July, ‘59 to July, ‘60. Not many were even made since everyone knew Hawaii would make 50.

I can’t, either. We have one in the hall closet.
It’s 4’x5’, I think.
I flew it a few years ago, suspended on a badminton net in the front yard.

How 'bout we emancipate Hawaii and it's judges, and give the whole kit and caboodle back to whomever? I'm OK with 49 stars. Actually, if we cut loose California while we're at it, we can go back to the 48 star flag. It's more attractive anyway, IMHO.

Got a 49 star flag stashed somewhere. Maybe I should sell it in Alaska on eBay.

I have several 48-star flags.
They came from the family over time. A couple were casket drapes from vet family members who died before the change.
