U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday appealed a U.S. judge’s ruling that blocked his administration from using $2.5 billion in funds intended for anti-drug activities to construct a wall along the southern border with Mexico.
U.S. Department of Justice lawyers said in a court filing that they were formally appealing Friday’s ruling to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
“[W]e’re immediately appealing it, and we think we’ll win the appeal,” Trump said during a press conference on Saturday at a summit of leaders of the Group of 20 (G20) major economies in Japan.
On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Haywood Gilliam in Oakland, California said in a pair of court decisions that the Trump administration’s proposal to transfer Defense Department funds intended for anti-drug activities was unlawful.

I agree with you. Trump once again putting us at the mercy of the Judiciary where the back stabbing traitor Roberts is at the end of the road with the knife ready to shove it in our back. And when the SC sides with the Rats it’s well gee l tried. Meanwhile the invasion continues and Texas edges ever closer to falling and then it’s truly over.
The Founding Fathers never intended the courts to be this powerful. They need to be reigned in, and I don't care if it happens when a Democrat is President and it could hurt Republicans attempting to resist him or her, just make it happen, please.
What a system we have where a judge can overrule the other branches of government. Ignore the rule of law. And not have to prove anything in order for his ruling to take effect. What about Equal powers?
It will be at least a year and maybe two before all this plays out. In the meanwhile the USA will be Cultural, Criminal, Medical, and Financial toast. How could one judge have such power?
That is the hope, that as it will end up in SCOTUS, they will rule sensibly and legally.

It isn't that of the Founders, or of a Limited, Republican government.
It is Progressivism.
I was referring to possible 3rd party payroll. Way too many of these judges seem to go against the written law just to thwart Trump. They are either on someones payroll or are corrupt. Either way, they should be removed. There is a difference in a ruling that we don’t like but is supported by the law and a judge just making things up as they go along.
That is a great idea, and has been suggested before! IIRC, a Congressman, whose name I cannot recall, has offered legislation to that effect.

Do not appeal it. Simply ignore it. The judge has no jurisdiction. Show me the law that enabled the _ruling_.
If we had a functioning congress, this black-robe fascist would be impeached and removed.
Since we don’t have such an animal as a functioning congress, the duty to punish these black-robe traitors will fall to the people and their myriad constitutional resources.

Do you think before you post? Rinos in the senate are looking for an excuse to remove Trump from office. Roberts apparently does not think district judges issuing nationwide injunctions are a problem. And I doubt congress is going to help.

Yes, start your counter with a personal attack as it always helps ones cause. The Republic hangs by a thread but because of fear of what the Senate RINOs might do lets let Judicial hacks run border policy. Obongo ignored Judges on more than one occasion I would like to see Trump do it once and if there was ever a time it is now. Especially when we have Roberts standing at the end of the road waiting to screw us again.
You say Trump "lets Judicial hacks run border policy" when in fact I think the appeal he filed will be successful, but if Roberts is determined to do the wrong thing and RBG stays on the court, that will be grim. I think we need to see what happens.

Well I hope your optimism is rewarded. The appeal process could drag on for months or even years. With tens of thousands of new Rat voters pouring over the border every month is it time the Republic has? And again there sits Roberts...
I hate the open borders and Trump does too. But both parties have been trying to provoke him into making a fatal political mistake.
