I watched the debate with a Democratic friend. He supported Bernie and then Clinton in 2016, and is leaning Warren in 2020.

We were fairly attentive to the debate, it was a little noisy but we also had the closed caption on.

Despite have completely different political views we both thought that Biden did pretty well. He looked Presidential. Even my friend, a Bernie supporter, thought Bernie looked bad. Hunched over, bug-eyed through his glasses, kind of a ranting vibe. Kamala came off as a b*tch.

So we walked out thinking, huh, Biden's positions might be vapid, but he kinda got the job done.

I would say Buttigeig did OK, too.

The spin was instant. MS-NBC all but declared Harris the winner - her black co-ethnic commentator Joy Reid called it first, and no one wanted to cross her.

The spin on CNN was that Biden and Bernie were both too old. David Axlerod delivered this "I sat in the office next to the Oval Office for several years when Obama was President, it's the hardest job in the world "

The N.Y. Times also all but declared Harris the winner and Biden the loser today, too.

The Media Elite don't want Joe. I think they want Harris as their top choice, maybe Warren as a possible alternate.

I don't think Biden is "over" or even really harmed by this, he comes across a lot better then most of them still.
