In New England, ocean rising 3 to 4 times faster than global average
I was taught in physics that water seeks its own level.....evidently not....who knew

The science is settled, water does not seek its own level, deal with it.

I’m not entirely sure how this is not yet common knowledge on FR, but this is fact.

Read & disseminate. It contains all the terminology for further Boolean searches. Maybe we can stem the tide of misinformation (pun intended).

“The U.S. East Coast and Great Lakes regions—once on the bulging edges, or forebulge, of those ancient ice layers—are still slowly sinking from forebulge collapse.”

What is glacial isostatic adjustment?
https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/glacial-adjustment.html

Also referred to as “post-glacial rebound”.

Another, albeit while attempting to still hysterically promote rising global sea levels:

There is also the problem of groundwater extraction (aka “human activity”) accelerating the process (but not by raising the oceans, as some hysterical studies assert, case-in-point: https://www.un-igrac.org/news/global-groundwater-depletion-leads-sea-level-rise , but by causing coastal areas to sink): Groundwater-related subsidence.
