With the recent attacks on 6 tankers, I cannot believe that there would not be satellites over the Strait of Hormuz That would not have imagery of the drone being shot down. I so, they would show coast lines, etc.

Yup. And radar and/or FLIR data showing the point of origin of the boats which attacked the tankers in the prior attacks.
