Well, the evidence - a magnet, and some fragments - seems a bit thin.
I don’t care about Iran, I just don’t want to see hundreds of billions of dollars and who knows how many American lives flushed away.
Yeah, but y’all have military issues with Iran’s support of Assad, Hezbollah and the Pali terrorist regimes in the Strip and West Bank (and who can blame you?).
That might have superseded the economic issues with oil prices.

Maybe. But attacking an innocent third party is not our style.
Perhaps, a better question might be: “Who benefits from U.S. inaction?” Seeing as how USS Bainbridge, a helicopter from USS Bainbridge, and an MQ-9 Reaper all obtained intelligence information from “some boat that just meandered up in the middle of nowhere, from who knows where, obviously not Iranian waters which were very close by… and individuals of unknown nationality or non-affiliations with Iran, which also happened to be close by… were photographed removing what looked very much like, and was identified as by (various) intelligentsia which, by now should know a limpet mine when they see one?!?” The fact a bunch of guys with towels wrapped around their noggins had to reveal their presence at all was because the second mine that they, or other parties “allegedly” placed, failed to go off doing more damage, if not sinking the evidence off the coast of… you guessed right if you said… “Iran”!
I mean really, how could anyone jump to a ridiculous conclusion that Iran had anything to do with this? Don’t get me wrong, I have skin in the game… a grandson proudly serving in the Air Force in career field that could very easily land him in this neck of the woods. I don’t think one drop of his blood, or sweat or piss for that matter, or anyone else’s kin should be shed for any of this. But, face the reality of the situation: we will get hooked into this sh..stuff by hook or crook sooner or later. Our allies’ life blood flows from these oil fields, and our military is the only one that stands a snow flake’s chance in hell of doing anything about it! Our allies are counting on us! So, before you say something like “Well, the allies need to handle this situation, then!”... as painful as it might be for some of you, try THINKING!
If we must be forced one way or another into doing something, I would think it’s in our best interest to pick and choose the time we will stomp the hell out Iran, or for those of you who haven’t decided it was IRAN, then whoever did whatever they did that perpetrated this crap.
