I don’t know how much you read, but they wouldn’t have been up in that area at all if it weren’t for a family funeral they attended in New Jersey. Bad judgment to take a few days in Maine before going back home to Tennessee? Perhaps. Insurance typically covers emergency care out of network, in my experience. Seems anyone who really wants to help either gets murdered or gets run off.

Yeas it was the driving to Maine after the funeral that seemed questionable, at 9 1/2 months pregnant when you live back down in Tennesee? She made a comment on her gofundme page about the hospital wanting payment, so I assume perhaps she was on medicaid which doesn’t pay out of network. Hospital wanted mental health evaluation. Not saying she wasn’t being screwed around by these people, but I don’t think we are getting the full story either.

From what I have read so far this is a couple that “met in med school” put their “desire to both be doctors” on hold so they could start a family and then went through what we have documented,just unbelievable.
