Well, if you’d actually read the article (!) you would realize the author was making a point about A) the fact that the GOP-e types are cowed by the left’s humorless attack humor, & B) that’s one reason why people flocked to Trump & why he continues to be successful. He doesn’t let the leftists get away with anything. He mocks them right back.
And yes, the author does discuss the new comedians on the right that people are beginning to follow. The only problem there is that the social media lefties are blocking & de-platforming them as fast as they can. Humor engages people & the fact that the left has been able to silence the right with PC nonsense has been a big problem for us.
I did read the article and he seems to be under the mis-impression that the Left’s version of “humor” is funny - it’s not. It’s just hateful self-righteousness. The only genuine, sustained humor in the Western world today comes from what is called “alt-right”.
Geez, calm down. . .why should I read an rather insignificant article whose basic premise is faulty or, at least poorly expressed? Who's the author, one of your kids?
Thanks for the summary. I avoid American Spectator largely because they screwed me out of a two year subscription.
“Well, if you’d actually read the article..”
Well, actually, I did read the article and stand by my premise. The left derides, the leftist listeners bark and snort, not with jubilation but with contempt and hate.
When it comes to libs, ‘funny’ has nothing to do with it.
