Around here, the phrase cowboy up means to suck it up in general-and where directed at guys, it means take your cojones out of whatever lockbox they are in and act like a real man instead of a wuss soyboy.
I have never brought a single legal or financial liability to my man’s table-I’m an equal-brought up by my parents to be self sufficient and to bring an income/assets to a partnership-not liabilities. But then I’m not any man’s shack job or bootie call, either-I require the same respect I give to a man-without mutual trust and respect, there can’t be a relationship worth having...

This isnt about you individualy. I’m more than sure many females are not like that. This is a wider issue of outdated cultural and legal edicts that are used by women, left and right, that have emptied men’s wallets, and left many on the streets or in jail. Many have taken their lives because of it. Men are now even legally banned from knowing if their recently birth child is actually theirs! Some still are on the hook even when it is found out the mother lied.
100 years of this stuff is finally catching up with the west. The numbers are just not there anymore, so here comes the fall. The real cowboys are riding off into the sunset. Good luck!
