Here is what I have observed about this whole Mexican tariff thing and the left’s multiple pearl clutching reactions:
Trump announces tariffs.
Leftists scream “it’ll hurt consumers! He doesn’t care about the consumer!”
Trump announces negotiations.
Leftists scream “Mexico will never submit to these threats!”
Trump announces signed agreement.
Leftists scream “Trump caved!”
Trump announces details of agreement showing he won.
Leftists scream “Trump gave away too much to Mexico!”
I read elsewhere that Mexico cannot stop the refugees moveing from their homes to another destination according to an international convention. Thus it is questionable if Trump can punish Mexico for obeying the rules.
