That doesn't matter here anymore. The Cult of Trump will tolerate no dissent these days.
There is a huge difference between gratitude to anyone sacrificing his own reputation, freedom, and life trying to get things accomplished from a pro-America standpoint in the White House and worshipping a human.
But it’s difficult for many people to stay on one side of that divide. FReepers tend to worship “their guy.” It’s fun and silly when we do it for our sports teams, but we should not worship or glorify human beings. Trump is by far not a perfect person or President. Separate the good he has done from full on “he can do no wrong.”
I never watched the video but I do not like Trump worship nor Trump hatred. After living through and falling for FR Bush Worship, I know I can be very wrong about truth, not having full access to all info. We were very wrong about the Bushes. I will never worship a political leader again.
The second four years is often not a great term for a president, and the country is deadly polarized. If we don’t attempt to bring the country together, we won’t be able to keep in the good paths Trump has begun. There are legit common sense reasons for kind of wishing Trump wasn’t running for a second term. However, I see the force that controls the media and Hollywood as being more in control of where we are headed than any president. It’s a problem.
