Can anyone translate this mumbo-jumbo?
Pushing the Bush immigration agenda.
He is DUMB as a BAG of ROCKS!
Tom Ridge was an establishment failure, moving on...
They trot this buffoon out 15 years after anyone paid any attention to what he says?
Desperate.
This from a member of an administration that watched silently as 1.5 to 2.0 million foreign nationals paraded across our southern frontier.
Yeah, please tell me what he thinks.
Former PA Governor Tom “Flight 93 Cover-up” Ridge is a Deep State tool, bought and paid for. (<= That’s a period.)
Well Former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge, we know that NOTHING you tried worked so shut up.
Solve the whole thing, of course not. Help immediately, yes. Go away, Tom, if you’re just going to be negative.
Tom Ridge. What a mental powerhouse he happens to be...
“...but I think we politicize the issue instead of solving the problem,” he continued
.”
Well Tom, we are giving them a reason to end their open borders, as well, providing logistic and transit and encampment.
If they want to continue their policy they can pay us for it
I am not sure the tariffs will stop illegal migration to the U.S. but, to paraphrase: If tariffs stop just one criminal border crosser, it is worth it.
The RINOS and CRONY CAPITALISTS are very, very afraid the imposition of tariffs will work, because they know in their ‘heart of hearts’ that Mexico has everything to lose and the USA has everything to gain if the imposition of tariffs dramatically reduces the number of illegals.
open borders bushie idiot.
tax all remittances!
Amazing that guys like Ridge, Cruz, Thune, Cornyn and a whole host of others like to run their cock-holsters about what the President is trying to do at the border and why it won’t work. But they never seem to have an answer as to what will work. It’s all the same shit from them.
I doubt there’s a person on here, that at this point would want anything less than landmines, lions, tigers, bears, .50 cals and mini-guns, taking down anything that moves within a 1/4 mile of the border.
Will that work in lieu of tariffs?
The President has opened the books on a lot of things that have been going on with our government for decades. None of it good. But here we have another shining example of....how in the F*ck did this guy end up in the positions he did? Remember, he was the first Sec of Homeland Security
Tariffs on imports from Mexico will not “solve” the immigration problem, just as building an effective wall will not “solve” the immigration problem.
Both the wall and tariffs simply redirect people’s thinking, and maybe, once their minds are out of thinking in certain channels, there might just be an intellectual breakthrough, that the United States cannot afford and cannot absorb the endless flow of uneducated, unskilled, functionally illiterate people now crossing our borders in a swarm approaching Biblical proportions, much like locusts descending upon the land.
It’s a chip in negotiations.
Trump would almost surely be happy to be sweeter to Mexico if it would respect the USA and not use it as a happy hunting ground for all manner of mischief.
Notice the mealy mouthed word-salad. He has “support” for the “notion” of a secure border. In theory, maybe. Sorta kinda. If you squint real hard. The idea maybe is worth exploring, potentially. Tariffs work in real life, but they can’t possibly work in theory, so let’s not get ahead of ourselves here.
Worthless. Americans have been sold a bill of goods for decades now. Nobody is allowed to be installed in any position of authority unless they agree to sit on their hands and mumble BS platitudes about “our values” and “that’s not who we are” and generally completely fail their duties yet make normal, peaceable American lives as difficult as possible.
YOU, dear Citizen, go to the airport, they crawl up yer ass with a microscope.
Illegal aliens, DHS puts them on flights no problem. Prolly smokin’ big cigars in First Class.
EX.
For a reason.
He’s right, tariffs certainly won’t solve the problem, no one thing will. Every tool available should be used. But tariffs, like building the wall, will definitely help move things in the right direction.
YUGE disappointment as gubbernor and as Sec. DHS, BUT, he fit right in with the other disappointment, shrub 43.
The number of pubbie disappointments is 100 times larger than those that do what they promised to do.
The inventor of Red-Yellow-Green alerts speaks up.
Where did the GOP-e dig up these Village Idiots?
