Joe Biden is too stupid to win the nomination (#2)

Since plagiarism killed an earlier Biden run at the presidency and dogged him in law school, the first rule of a rational Biden campaign this time would be: nothing that even vaguely looks like plagiarism.  But evidently, the subject never came up when Joe Biden assembled his presidential campaign staff.  But it looks as though the Biden campaign panicked when Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted that his lack of a radical plan to restructure our thriving economy so as to emit less CO2 was a "dealbreaker."

But with almost four weeks to work on something, the best the campaign could come up with was copying and pasting, and in some cases re-wording, the work of others on similar "Green New Deal" proposals to produce the "Biden Plan."

Of course, as anyone with a triple-digit IQ could predict, people noticed right away.  The Washington Post:

Joe Biden's presidential campaign lifted language without credit, at times word for word, when crafting its education and climate plans, incidents the campaign acknowledged and said were inadvertent.

The incidents appeared to be staff errors when detailing Biden's policies, and they underscored how hastily his campaign was attempting to put out specific proposals. But the issue was a particularly sensitive one for Biden, whose 1988 campaign was derailed after he plagiarized, in speeches, rhetoric used by British politician Neil Kinnock.

Reports also emerged that he used lines from two Democrats, Robert F. Kennedy and Hubert H. Humphrey, without attribution. Biden had also been cited for plagiarism in a paper during law school, an error he blamed on not knowing how to properly cite sources.

Biden is not stupid. He’s not anything approaching brilliant, but he didn’t get where he is by being a retard. Further, any lack of intellectual rigor will be glossed over by the Press.

Never underestimate your opponents - especially when said opponents have the Press in their pocket

Wonder who is feeding the truth about Biden to the press?

I'm guessing people who have figured out Biden has no chance of winning - and that someone else needs to be put in soon to replace him - or dems will be running some commie or commielite... and THAT person will lose big time to Trump.

Biden's weak and casually corrupt... too much to survive a spotlight on him... And old gatekeepers were overrun by the internet years ago. It's gonna get interesting. Dems don't have a bench - thanks to an 'easy' press. Love it.

I can’t help but believe that his media prominence is just to be a placeholder.

I think we are going to see a Michelle Obama or some other nightmare trotted out just at the last moment. The nightmare will be held back to avoid the death by a thousand goofs that Democrat candidates are prone to exhibit.

I think we have to look at the primary states and see who quietly registers without fanfare.

Look for Mitt Romney to switch parties and try to win the nomination.

Agree. Fits in with him swimming in the nude in front of SS Agents, especially females. An exhibitionist to the core. He’s a sicko.

Well, 1929 was before Biden was born. But, as Cicero said, not to know what happened before you were born is to remain forever a child.

Probably most politicians are as ignorant as Biden and look good only if they have a capable staff. I am reminded of Senator Montoya in the Sam Ervin Watergate hearings in 1973--he read questions prepared by his staff and would read the next question without realizing the witness had already answered that in replying to an earlier question.

I like to say that if one doesn’t know a thing, it makes them ignorant regarding that thing. And it is nothing to be ashamed of. I can not tell you the different names of the various kinds of clouds. That makes me ignorant of that. But a Meteorologist that is ignorant of that is also what I call STUPID. If you don’t know something that you SHOULD know, you are stupid.

A politician that doesn’t know that FDR was not president in ‘29 and people didn’t have televisions in the US at that time, well, that’s stupidity.

I saw a quote recently from Benjamin Franklin (haven't verified it): "We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid."

I just hope that the Democrats don't discover before the 2020 election that Donald Trump was born illiterate.
