At the risk of sounding stupid - how would that help? The illegals aren’t coming over at the check-points - which is all “closing the border” would close, right?
The only thing I can see closing the border would do is to make Mexico freak out and maybe do something on their side to shut off the invasion.
What country are you from? You are obviously not an American or you would know that the President Trump, by design, has limited power. This is not the Soviet Union or some ancient kingdom where all power resides in one being.

I thought I was all screwed up, maybe I am anyway, but isn’t D-day JUNE 6?
First I thought my calendar was wrong so I checked that. Sure enough, today is June 5.
Then I thought I had been mis-remembering the actual date of D-day all these years so I checked that. Sure enough, the correct date for D-day is June 6.
So why are all these people marking the event on June 5 this year? Is that what has been done in the past and I just didn’t notice it?
I thought I was going to be the only one who asked that. Thought I was in a time warp or lost a whole day. I know that yesterday we noted the battle of Midway on June 4.
