ICE planning large-scale deportations that 'will include families'
Washington Examiner ^ | 6/4/19 | Anna Giaritelli

The Trump administration is planning a large-scale deportation operation that would include migrant families who did not show up in court to learn their asylum claims had been denied and they had been ordered deported.

Mark Morgan, acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, on Tuesday told reporters the agency is moving forward on a strategy it hopes will "disincentive" those who are not in fear for their lives and might claim asylum after illegally crossing in order to get into the U.S. and avoid immediate deportation.

"We have no choice as I see this," said Morgan. "We need to take some interior enforcement action ... We need to continue to do everything that we can within the current legal framework, within the current laws, within the current statutorily mandated duties of ICE, to assist, to reduce this humanitarian crisis," Morgan told a small group of reporters at a round table briefing at the agency's headquarters Tuesday. "That will include families."

they should pack them into military cargo transports ASAP in the middle of the night with no press invited and drop them off back in C.A.

More talk. How about they just do it and tell us the result instead of telling us what they are going to do, that too often doesn’t happen or gets stopped before it can?

They are deporting thousands of people, and this is encouragement that they are going to do more. They are saying it publicly to discourage families from coming.

This was a policy recommended by a former leader of ICE who is on Lou Dobbs show all of the time. Deport those who have had their court appearances.

They may be attempting to drum up public support. There are probably too many politicians unwilling to back it because they fear it will be too unpopular, and that they will be voted out next term if they simply do it without notifying the public at large. They fear blowback, especially in areas with large immigrant populations.

I think they should just nut up and do it, personally. If an American out on bond dodges court, there is a warrant out for their arrest. This is actually worse, and deserves proper repercussions.

As long as they deport entire families as a unit, the Libs should have nothing to complain about.

I am proposing that we form a non-profit company whose sole mission is to pension off illegal aliens and safely and voluntarily repatriate them to their country of origin.

Here’s how it would work:

1. The illegal alien would register as an illegal alien and sign a statement admitting that they illegally crossed the US border or overstayed a visa, and that they have no right to be in the US or ever return to the US.

2. The illegal alien would then submit to biometric recording, including fingerprinting, DNA, 3D facial mapping and hand geometry. This data would be kept in a permanent database for use if they ever again entered the US to demonstrate that they have previously been deported.

3. The illegal immigrant would then volunteer to be deported and repatriated via air travel to their country of origin.

4. The illegal alien would receive a pension of $1,000 a month, decreasing by $200 a month after each year, finally ending after five years, on the condition that this money be picked up, in person, every other week, at a location of their choosing in their country of origin.

I figure that an illegal immigrant can be voluntarily repatriated and permanently excluded from the country for about $50,000 each. Since there are about 20 Million illegals in this country, that means we would need about $100,000,000,000 to voluntarily repatriate them all, one twentieth the cost of the F-35 program.

As the numbers of illegal aliens in the country decrease, it will be a simpler task to round up and deport involuntarily those who do not avail themselves of this opportunity. Faced with a choice of involuntary deportation with nothing or voluntary repatriation with a pension, most will choose the voluntary path.

We can start this as a privately funded operation. Once it is in successful implementation, the US government can provide grants and assistance to expand the program to 100% coverage.

Trump was elected primarily on the immigration question, and if voters see no progress has been made his re-election is not a sure thing.

Rembember back when Kushner and Pence were POTUS’s point men for the immigration deal that went with funding the government?

We got taken to the cleaners on that, with a new law that led to all this swarming of the border particularly with minors:

Agreed. As the great Sidney Powell points out in this article I just posted above - https://sidneypowell.com/media/the-ultimate-betrayal-the-truth-about-the-invasion-of-america/ - some of Trump’s team in the WH is actively working against stopping illegal immigration, and have managed to get through legislation making it worse.

Cut off all welfare benefits, enforce eVerify, and most illegals will self-deport. Then send in ICE to round up the remaining invaders.

This is what the Trump admin should have done long before now:

Sidney Powell is a highly respected attorney who was long in the DoJ.

There is all this that Trump could do immediately (or have done two years ago) without needing the cooperation of Congress.

His first order of duty as president is protecting our country — and he hasn’t begun to stop, let alone reverse, the invasion.
