Being where I am the POTUS is covered by a large majority in the military. They put him where he is. Any malcontents in the Armed Services who side with the enemy are dead men walking.
Not from what I'm hearing. If CinC/POTUS has been stripped, symbolically or otherwise, of his authority, it's essentially 50-50.
(Yes, of course there's a large percentage that simply fall back to the chain of command, and Trump is at the top... but the Left will drive a wedge into that somehow... they literally have to... and that will break off a large chunk of the chain-of-command folks.)

So what?
When the shooting starts, the men will be operating in a dense fog of lies and conflicting orders. They will not know where the President or SECDEF are, or even WHO they are.
They will be scared. They will follow their officers.
They certainly won’t be voting, so what the majority of them thought or wanted under conditions of civil peace will be irrelevant.
And one more thing. I’m quite sure the Obama loyalists in the military who form the backstop for the FBI-CIA-State Department traitors have a war plan ready to go. I doubt that the defenders have even begun to wargame a defense.
