Not sure China can last to the elections, and the Chinese know it. Their banks are going down. This is essentially September 2008 for China. Worse, there is no more money available from their manufacturing base to steal from in order to make the books appear balanced.
Weekly World News has more truth in it than any Chinese balance sheet, and everybody knows it.
Manufacturing is RAPIDLY shifting to the Tigers (Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, etc.)
And now it appears that Mexico is in the crosshairs. You can’t continue to rely on us economically and undermine us politically. The only two groups in the country who were on board with that were Congressional Democrats and Congressional Republicans.
Everyone else was against it. Even the CEOs of companies who held out as long as they could manufacturing in the US had to buckle or die to outsourcing.
