Adam Schiff, being the arrogant POS that he is, is probably not that afraid of Barr, figuring that Barr will make some noise investigating but not actually poke anybody with his stick. Should people start getting indicted and hauled before a grand jury, then Schiff might get nervous. However, how often do congress critters ever have to face real legal jeopardy?
Agree. Schiff and Barr are playing their roles. It’s all beltway theater until we see perp walks.
I don’t expect that will happen given it has been nearly 3 years since the Democrat crimes and the GOP has shown little will to prosecute their Democrat friends to the benefit of Trump and the MAGA agenda.

I have found that when a Lib/Dem/Prog starts complaining about something the Repub/Conservs are doing, you can be sure that they have done, or are doing, the exact same thing.
Tim Kaine gives me the creeps. I just shudder when I see him. I think someone here put a picture of the "Grinch" next to a picture of him and it was startlingly close.
Of course, I figured he was a wimp and a toady when HRC chose him for her Veep candidate.
I used to point that out to people. Trump chose a very competent and able politician, who had been a governor, for his Veep choice; HRC went with someone she could easily dominate.
He's trying to create a Constitutional Crisis by crossing separation of powers to ask for people in the Executive Branch to undermine their bosses and impede the work of Senate-confirmed Cabinet Secretaries.
If Schiff has a concern, he should ask the Cabinet members to appear before his committee. He has no business going directly to staff workers who need their boss's permission to speak to Congress.
Why isn't anyone framing this in this way?
